Helping Women Thrive - National Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Helping Women Thrive - National Breast Cancer Awareness Month | NatraCure

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! The month is dedicated to educate and bring more awareness around Breast Cancer, which affects 1 in 8 women in their lifetime. Early detection is the key so making timely screenings is important.

We are proud to announce our second year of partnership with the National Breast Cancer Foundation, which is a leading nonprofit with the sole purpose of helping women and men thrive against the disease. To support this important cause, we donated 600 pairs of Cold Therapy socks to be included in the NBCF HOPE Kit--a care package for breast cancer patients. As a result of our partnership, many chemotherapy patients have found relief with our Cold Therapy Socks! We are thankful to be able to reach patients who need them the most.

Here are testimonies from individuals who received the HOPE KIT:

“It made me smile and feel special.  Also right after I got the hope kit,  I got hand and foot syndrome.  The cold pack socks were amazing, the timing couldn't have been any better.” -Joleen

"Was a very generous and thoughtful box of hope and healing!  I am especially thankful for the 'cooling socks' as my feet have been ON FIRE during and now after chemo treatments.....Mahalo for your lovely gift box.” -Laura

Change starts today, with us. Consider following these steps to raise awareness for breast cancer:

1. Educate yourself and others about the disease by reading about it here: https://www.nationalbreastcancer.org/about-breast-cancer/.

2. Be proactive about breast health! When breast cancer is detected early, the 5-year relative survival rate is 99%. Learn how to conduct monthly breast self-exams and tell friends and family to do the same. Also remember to get regular breast exams and mammograms.

3. Research and donate to reputable organizations, such as the National Breast Cancer Foundation. You can donate to the National Breast Cancer Foundation by clicking here
